Life runs by like little cat feet, making paw prints...savor every step.

Quick update on Chinese Garden...
I'm working on pt.6 of Chatelaine's Chinese Garden Mandala this week, and finished the fourth gate. Before moving on to the northwest garden I took some pictures to share here! This is the gate from the left, or west side.
And here is the whole piece so far...I had to move it into a larger q-snap at this point! Now working on the upper left corner garden. More later!
Hello! I've been married 23 years, 1 daughter, age 21 in 2015, stitcher for 35+ years, BA in anthropology, Masters in Library Science. Family includes 4 cats and one dog. In addition, I'm an unrequited horse-crazy girl who never grew up, and still wishes for a horse of my own! My main hobby is stitching (of course!). I stitch on a rotation, love designs by Teresa Wentzler, Crossed Wing, Just Nan and Chatelaine, and like making quilts on occasion. I'm into crochet as well, making hats, scarfs and afghans. I also love reading, chocolate, and hanging out with DH and DD and the pets! I volunteer with a local environmental group, and have been known to do a little subversive bird watching! I'm a bit of an obsessive fan of Doctor Who and the Eleventh Doctor, also Tolkien, Star Trek, and Anne McCaffrey's PERN! I love watching sports on TV, including my Duke Blue Devils and my Carolina Hurricanes!
The name badge above was stitched from a pattern called Spring Kitty Paw by Michelle Lutzen of Stitchy Kitty which is available via SASE. The address is on her website, along with several other cute freebies! I greatly desire her wallpaper for my blog, wouldn't you?
