Growth Rings Happy Dance!

Dance with me! I finished Growth Rings! It took six weeks and chasing off a few frogs (they were small but annoying) and here it is, all stitching complete......the picture just does not do it justice!
I will take it in April to be framed....this was a really fun stitch and I enjoyed every minute, even after chasing off those pesky frogs....LOL!

Now I can work on the biscornu I started yesterday after the last stitch was put in Rings.....my cat Pixel is happy because I don't need the big floor frame for something so small, so he can nap on my chair arm. Don't ask me how he sleeps like this....he reminds me of the Wysocki cat in Too Pooped sleeping on the tree branch!

  1. Oh my gosh Kathy, you had me falling off my chair. I saw the picture of your cat and was totally shocked. I thought why in heaven does Kathy post a picture of a dead cat? It didn't come up to mind that a cat would be able to sleep in that position. And yes, he looks like the cat in "too pooped"
Your growth rings are fabulous. Congrats with that.

  2. I'm falling off my chair too Gabi...with laughter! Pixel sleeps in the strangest positions I've ever seen, but this one takes the cake! Thanks for the nice comment on Rings!

  9. GR looks fantastic! What threads did you use - looks like two overdyeds? Love your Pixel - he's a "dead" "ringer" for the Wysocki Too Pooped. Sorry, I couldn't resist not one, but two puns in one! Hope to be calling you in the next week or so to maybe come up and stitch, get lunch, or something. My job ends Tues., with office clean-up on Wed., etc. So hope to see you pretty soon!
